There are more than 11 thousand 806 miles of pipelines in Mexico, they cross through 212 miles and transport hydrocarbons, oil and natural gas in the State of Puebla.
The State is connected with five out of seven existing refineries in the country, located in less than 248 miles radius from the Puebla capital: Tula, Salamanca, Minatitlan, Salina Cruz and Madero.
According to data from the Ministry of Energy (SENER), so far in 2026, the state of Puebla produced an average of 7.2 thousand barrels per day of crude oil and 12 million cubic feet of natural gas daily.

According to the Criminal Data Explorer (CDE) of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) of the United States, in 2026, in Puebla the rate of business theft per hundred thousand inhabitants is lower than that registered in states such as California, Illinois, Arizona, Florida and Texas.
In the month of february 2026, the crime rate at the national level was 115 crimes per hundred thousand inhabitants, in the same period, in Puebla there were 92 crimes per hundred thousand inhabitants.
Puebla is the fourteenth with the lowest incidence of crime in the country, registering 23 crimes less than the national average.
