Puebla is consolidating its position as the capital of technology and sustainability through the establishment of the Development Hub for Wellbeing. One of the world?s most modern automotive plants spearheaded the planning of this new development hub in three phases. As of 2026, the first phase has been completed, and the second is progressing steadily, providing affordable housing, public services, and community facilities for more than 5,000 Audi workers and surrounding communities.
This inclusive and sustainable development combines world-class industrial development with a high quality of life, positioning itself as central Mexico?s leading electromobility hub. With the expansion of the Q5 e-tron and the creation of more than 1,200 new jobs in electrification, the hub is attracting suppliers, nearshoring investment, and smart infrastructure projects, advancing the Puebla government?s vision of innovation and economic growth.
To cover health care, the city has an Expanded Services Health Center and an IMSS Hospital.
