There are more than 11 thousand 806 miles of pipelines in Mexico, they cross through 212 miles and transport hydrocarbons, oil and natural gas in the State of Puebla.
The State is connected with four out of six existing refineries in the country, located in less than 248 miles radius from the Puebla capital: Tula, Salamanca, Minatitlan and Madero.
According to data from the Department of Energy (SENER), in the month of January 2020, the State of Puebla produced a total of 7 thousand 268 barrels of crude oil per day and 26 million 036 cubic feet of natural gas daily.

According to criminal statistics from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) of the United States, until the end of 2019, in Puebla the crime incidence rate per hundred thousand inhabitants is lower than that registered in states such as California, Illinois, Arizona, Florida and Texas.
In the month of june 2023, the crime rate at the national level was 149 crimes per hundred thousand inhabitants, in the same period, in Puebla there were 106 crimes per hundred thousand inhabitants.
Puebla is the twelfth with the lowest incidence of crime in the country, registering 43 crimes less than the national average.
